Following our visit to Third World Countries, and being made aware of their immediate needs, we’ve established a network of local community workers in these countries. They include:
Medical professionals [Doctors, Nurses and Admin staff]
Educational professionals [Teachers, school CEO’s]
Service Club members [Rotary; CWA; Lions etc]
Church groups [Anglican; SDA; Catholic; Lutheran etc].
Government Members who are wanting to improve facilities for the people in their Districts have also contacted us for assistance. This network has the responsibility of reporting a need; taking delivery; and distributing the donations we send. No goods are distributed from Australia until a chain of responsibility has been established.
Upon receiving a written request, we investigate the authenticity/need and then proceed to ascertain whether we can fill the request from donations throughout our contacts in Australia.
Photos and written reports are received to verify receipt and delivery of donations.
Some examples of our donations include:
- Sports uniforms from Gold Coast school delivered to a village school outside Wewak PNG.
- Oncology chair from Gold Coast Hospital now in use at Goroka Hospital.
- Delivery of bed sheets to Alotau Hospital.
- Mobility equipment received by Physiotherapy Dept, Milne Bayt Dist Hospital PNG.
The numbers of our suppliers throughout Australia has increased remarkably as word spreads of what we’re achieving. Our vision is to prevent any useful Items from ending up as land fill in Australia where it can be recycled to provide aid to struggling communities – either Internationally or Domestic.
